He has been doing very well with his breathing. He is on the lowest settings on the nasal prongs, and they have tried twice taking him totally off of everything but those times lasted 11 minutes and the second time 17 minutes- so he isn't totally ready for that. The oxygen level in his blood went down so it was time to put him back on the nasal cannula.
Travis's feedings have had slow progress. I am nursing him at 11am and that has been going okay. He isn't drinking too much. I was there for the 2pm feed but he was still too tired from the previous feeding, so now I also stayed till 5pm in hopes that he would be more alert then. It has been hit and miss with that, so we just need to see how it goes in the next couple days. We've also tried the bottle but it is also taking some time for him to get used to that.
We haven't moved to Pod A yet, it sounds like it may be next week. They will be switching a couple babies over at once because that makes it easier for the staffing aspect of it.
Dressed up in his new outfits!
